In my GCSE's I chose to base my photography exam on 'Alice in Wonderland'. I had
so much fun doing this! Finding the best places to do an Alice in Wonderland shoot
was hard but I think the places I chose really helped show the three different films
that I based them on, Alice in wonderland (Disney), Alice in wonderland (Tim Burton)
and Malice in wonderland which is personally my favourite! These are some of
my favourites from the shoot, it took up to three days!

| This is my favorite part of both of the films, it is when Alice grows in the rabbits house. I made my friend look shocked as Alice is very shocked in this scene. I chose this outfit because I wanted her to look like Alice and I wanted people to see that it was a scene from Alice. I used simple makeup because in the film Alice is young and fresh faced. I used some Rimmel Stay Matt powder and also some Maybelline Colossal mascara. Then I topped off the look with Rimmel Fire&Ice. |

These are a selection of my favorites from when we went to visit the west hill. I must admit my friend has some guts going to the west hill in an Alice in Wonderland costume we did get some funny looks and some students took pictures but it was all worth it. I love how these pictures look magical and so Dinsey esc. This is the scene when Alice is on her way to wonderland (following the rabbit). I tried to make it look dreamy as Alice is dreaming throughout the film. I used the same look on these photos as the photo's before.

| This is one of my favorites from the Malice in Wonderland. This is the scene from when Alice meets the 'caterpillar' however there is a twist as its Malice not Alice and she is actually smoking the shisha not the 'caterpillar'. Also I thought that a caterpillar would be too small so I used my trusty bearded dragon! I used my ex halloween costume as this Malice in wonderland. This is because its black, which shows evil, also used my socks that had blood on them to add to the horror theme. I also used a darker red lip (Mac's russian red) and added some black eyeliner around the eyes. |

These are my faviourate from Summerfields woods. They remind me of the 2010 film by Tim Burton. I think they really so the craziness of the wonderland. I love how the one in the top right is reflected. I used all the same make up and outfit as the Alice photos before. I used the bottom right one as my final piece. I edited it in photoshop by reflecting it and adding the rabbit (from the disney one) and text from the book!

In the end I ended up putting all of the sources together and creating a final piece. In my photography GCSE's I got an A grade which I am very proud of and I put it all down to this shoot and my lovely friend for helping. Always remember when you put your mind to something you can achieve anything! Don't ever put yourselves down!
